Our Humble Beginnings
"The Catholic Credit Co-operative Society Ltd., Belthangady, was established in 1998. It was blessed by the Most Rev. Bishop Aloysius Paul D'Souza, the then Bishop of the Diocese of Mangalore, and inaugurated by Shri Vasantha Bangera, the then MLA of the Belthangady Assembly Constituency. Since its inception, the Society has been committed to the economic well-being of its members by introducing several member-centric welfare schemes. It offers attractive interest rates on deposits and provides prompt loan facilities at affordable interest rates. At present, the Society has deposits amounting to ₹120 crore and has extended loans worth ₹100 crore. Staff Training Programme
To enhance the professional knowledge, service quality, and overall efficiency of its employees, the Catholic Credit Co-operative Society, Belthangady, organized a Staff Training Programme. The session provided valuable insights into customer service, leadership, communication, teamwork, and the latest developments in the co-operative banking sector.
The programme was led by distinguished guest lecturers Mr. Shrisha K. M. and Mr. Vanamali Hebbar, whose informative and interactive sessions inspired the staff to strengthen their professional skills and deliver member-centric services with greater commitment. The training programme reaffirmed the Society's dedication to continuous learning, employee development, and excellence in service.
Inauguration of the Fourth Branch – Somanthadka
The Fourth Branch at Somanthadka was officially inaugurated on 20 May 2026. The new branch was blessed by Fr. Shibi Pudiyar, Parish Priest of St. Mary Church, Mundaje, and Fr. Abhel Lobo, Parish Priest of St. Anthony Church, Ujire.
The inauguration ceremony was presided over by Mr. Anantha Bhat Machimale, President of Mundaje Halu Utpadhakara Sahakari Sangha, who officially inaugurated the branch. The event was attended by dignitaries, members, well-wishers, and local residents, marking another significant milestone in the institution's continued growth and commitment to providing quality financial services to the community.
Inauguration of the Third Branch – Venoor
As part of its commitment to extending quality financial services to the community, the Catholic Credit Co-operative Society, Belthangady, inaugurated its Venoor Branch in a grand ceremony. The branch was blessed and inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Peter Aranha, Parish Priest of Christ the King Church, Venoor, and Rev. Fr. Josh Valiyaparambila of Belthangady.
The occasion was further enriched by the gracious presence of Shri Harish Poonja, MLA of the Belthangady Assembly Constituency, who attended the function as the Chief Guest. The inauguration marked another significant milestone in the Society's journey of providing accessible, reliable, and member-focused banking services while strengthening its presence across the region.
Aladangady Branch Renovation and Inauguration
The renovated Aladangady Branch building was officially inaugurated by Fr. Naveen Pinto and Mr. Harish Ponja. The renovation was carried out to modernize the branch's infrastructure and enhance the banking experience by providing improved facilities and services for members and visitors.

The renovated Naravi Branch building was officially inaugurated by Fr. valerian Fernandes. The renovation was undertaken to enhance the branch's infrastructure and provide improved facilities for members and visitors.
Inauguration Of The Ashakirana Commercial Complex
The Ashakirana Commercial Complex was officially inaugurated by Fr. Walter D'Mello, Parish Priest of Holy Redeemer Church, in the presence of distinguished guests, well-wishers, and members of the community.
Silver Jubilee Inauguration Ceremony
The Silver Jubilee Celebrations were officially inaugurated on 12 March 2022 at the CVC Hall by Fr. Basil Vas. The ceremony marked the beginning of a memorable year of thanksgiving and celebration, commemorating twenty-five years of dedicated service, unity, and growth.
The event brought together clergy, dignitaries, members, and well-wishers to celebrate this significant milestone. Through prayers, inspiring messages, and fellowship, the inauguration reflected gratitude for the journey so far and renewed commitment towards serving the community in the years ahead.
